About Simonian Fruit Company
The Simonian Family, a fixture in the San Joaquin Valley produce industry for over a century, planted its first California roots in 1910, when Paul Simonian began his original farming operations on a small plot of land near Fowler, California. 50 years later, in 1960, his son Coche Simonian founded Simonian Fruit Company, and the rest is — as they say — history.
Today, Simonian Fruit Co. remains a family-owned and operated company, and continues to value the long-term partnering relationships we have with hundreds of Valley farmers and industry friends. We pride ourselves on customer service that has become almost legendary over our 50+ years as an industry leader, and we’re equally proud of our ability to maintain the highest standards in sustainable growing and packaging practices.
But most importantly, as it was when we began, we still believe that nothing less than the very best produce can carry the Simonian label. Currently growing top-quality peaches, plums, nectarines, apricots, persimmons, grapes and pomegranates on some 3,000 acres, this remains our promise to our customers — and you — as we ship our prized fruit throughout the nation, and the world.
True Love In A Jar
What started as a seasonal gift, now our mouth-watering Pomegranate Jelly can be enjoyed all year around! First cooked in the late 1990’s as a unique addition to Simonian’s Christmas Gift Pack for customers and friends, it soon became a popular and regular request.
Originally cooked by Simonian Fruit’s close family friend Betty Mayebo, today the torch has been passed to Patti Simonian and Doralie Utecht to continue on with the delicious tradition. Their love and care is clearly bottled in each and every jar they make.
Simonian Fruit’s splendid, vibrant colored jelly can now be purchased at a variety of area gift stores, as well as the local farmers market. Pick up a jar today and discover how the tangy-sweet flavor can take an ordinary dish from simple to spectacular!
